Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare is a tragedy about power, loyalty, and betrayal. The play follows the rise and fall of Julius Caesar, a popular Roman leader whose growing influence worries a group of senators. His close friend, Brutus, is torn between his love for Caesar and his duty to Rome. Convinced by the manipulative Cassius that Caesar will become a tyrant, Brutus joins a conspiracy to assassinate him. After Caesar’s shocking murder, chaos erupts in Rome. His ally, Mark Antony, turns the people against the conspirators with a powerful speech, leading to a brutal civil war. In the end, Brutus and Cassius meet tragic fates, and Antony declares Brutus the noblest Roman of them all, recognizing that his actions were driven by honor, not ambition.
