Hamlet is about a Danish prince whose world is turned upside down when his father, the king, dies suddenly. Soon after, Hamlet’s mother marries his uncle, Claudius, who takes the throne. One night, Hamlet sees his father’s ghost, which reveals that Claudius murdered him. Fueled by grief and a need for revenge, Hamlet pretends to be mad while he figures out what to do. Along the way, he struggles with doubt, betrayal, and the meaning of life itself. His actions lead to a tragic spiral of deaths, including his love interest, Ophelia, and ultimately himself, as nearly everyone around him falls victim to deception, revenge, and fate.
